Registration

A non-refundable registration fee of R160.00 per swimmer is payable upon registration.

A seasonal membership fee of R160.00 is payable before the commencement of each new season, between 1 June and 15 July. This fee is required from swimmers who are continuing with lessons into the upcoming season. All seasonal membership fees contribute directly to the funding of swim school events.

Membership shall remain active unless formally cancelled by the member or by Bubbly Glide Swim School. A written cancellation notice must be submitted at least one calendar month in advance. The account holder remains liable for the full fees applicable to the notice month, irrespective of lessons not attended during that period. Verbal cancellation will not be accepted.

Full monthly fees must be paid in advance by the first (1st) of each month.

Penalty fee of R30.00 will be added to your account for late payment when paid after the 5th.

Payments can only be made via EFT and will not be refundable nor transferable.

Members shall not be permitted to attend the swimming lessons if the fees for the month have not been paid in advance.

There will be NO classes on public holidays and festive season (from the second week of December to the first week of January, fees for December shall be reduced proportionally).

Where lessons are missed without prior cancellation notice and payment remains outstanding, the account will be escalated to debt collection. The account holder will be liable for the debt collection fees as well as any amount which Bubbly Glide Swim School may incur.

Bubbly Glide Swim School undertakes to process and safeguard all personal information in accordance with the Protection of Personal Information Act, 2013 (POPIA). The account holder’s personal information will not be disclosed to any third party except where such disclosure is required for lawful purposes, including but not limited to the recovery of outstanding amounts. The account holder expressly consents to Bubbly Glide Swim School sharing relevant personal information with authorised debt collection agencies for the sole purpose of recovering amounts owed under this agreement.

Bubbly Glide swim school reserves the right to allocate a substitute/relief Instructor; or adjust time slots as necessary to accommodate the swimmer’s level and individual progress.

All scheduled lessons incorporate land-based training and alternative training methods associated with swimming development and water safety.

Punctuality is essential to ensure the smooth-running of all classes.

Swimmers with contagious illnesses will not be permitted to attend the lessons in order to safeguard the health and well-being of all participants and staff.

Should the learner not attend the scheduled swimming lessons/Aqua Aerobics classes, there will be no refund. Bubbly Glide School will only allow Two make-up lessons for lessons missed by swimmers due to personal reasons, 48 hours notification is required for swimmers to be illegible for a make up lesson. Make up lessons will also be scheduled in the event that the lesson is cancelled by the swim school due to bad weather or technical issues. Make-up lessons should be scheduled and attended within a month of the missed lesson. There will be no make-up sessions for Aqua Aerobics. Regular attendance is expected to ensure swimmers benefit fully from the program.

Parents are not permitted to coach or interact with swimmers during lessons and are restricted from the pool area. Parents should be seated in the waiting area. Parents who have any concerns or question, please address your concerns after working hours, privately with the instructor or teacher Thuli.

In the event of an emergency, please follow the staff instructions as they are trained in first aid and emergency protocols.

Bubbly Glide and its staff are not responsible for lost or misplaced items. Found belongings will be placed in the designated lost-and-found container.

Photos/videos may not be taken without the consent of those involved. Unauthorised photos and Videos may violate the right to privacy.

The parent/legal guardian agrees to supervise the child(ren) before and after the lessons and shall ensure that the children do not temper or damage any equipment/property owned by Bubbly Glide Swim School. The parent/ guardian shall be liable for any damage caused by their child or themselves. (This does not apply to the nursery school swimmers)

Vehicle hooters, loud music and consumption of Alcohol are not allowed in and around the premises. Smoking is prohibited in the close proximately of the of the pool and children. Noise level should be kept low in and around the pool area to maintain a calm learning environment.

To help maintain a clean environment the pool area, changing rooms, parking area should be kept clean at all times. please use the dust bin provided to dispose any litter. Parents should ensure that the paying equipment is pack away before leaving the facility.

Appropriate full swim costumes should be worn during the swimming lessons, swimming caps are compulsory for all swimmers.

What to bring for swimming:
~Full Swimming costume for girl, young boys and ladies.
~Tights or swimming shorts and rush vest for teen boys and men.
~Swimming caps for all swimmers.
~Towel
~Goggles are optional
~Flip Flops compulsory for nursery school kids

I understand that Bubbly Glide Swim School’s owners, instructors, staff and affiliates endeavour to perform their duties in a manner consistent and with a degree of care and I understand that participation in swimming activities involves inherent risks, and I voluntarily assume all such risks. I waive any and all claims against the swim school, its owners, instructors, staff, and affiliates from any and all liability for injuries, damages and losses that may occur in connection with swimming activities. This release applies to all claims, whether foreseen or unforeseen, and is enforceable to the fullest extent allowed by law.

Membership confirmation statement:
I hereby confirm that the information provided is true and correct. I acknowledge that I have read and fully understood the membership terms and conditions set out by Bubbly Glide Swim School. I agree to abide by these terms and conditions.

A referral discount will be granted to a swimmer that refers a friend or family members once the new applicants' registration is confirmed.
